CBD Hash Switzerland đŸ€  Artisanal & Legal | Wild Wild Hash

A column by

Swiss CBD hash is a hemp resin extracted through the mechanical separation of trichomes, then compressed or shaped by hand, with a THC content of less than 1% in accordance with the Swiss Narcotics Act (LStup CH). It is one of the most concentrated forms of CBD: while the flower contains 10 to 20% CBD, high-quality artisanal hash can exceed 30%. In Switzerland, the market has developed around three major global traditions—Moroccan, Lebanese, and Indian—reinterpreted by Swiss artisans.

Saddle up your horse. Here in the Wild West of the CBD, we don’t do things by halves. Wild Wild Hash is our artisanal take on this age-old tradition: three products, three legends, three Daltons, each of whom brought something back from their journey. Take a seat at the saloon bar—we’ll explain it all to you. And what if this is the complete overview of Swiss CBD you’re looking for, Sheriff Blackwood has it all documented right here.

The Three Legends of Hash: Wild Wild Weed

Golden Moroccan — Boone Dalton’s Journey

Boone Dalton wasn’t the type to sit still. When he left the Vaud region for the Moroccan Rif, he wasn’t looking for tourism—he was looking for the source. Up there, between Ketama and Issaguen, farmers have been harvesting hemp pollen for centuries using techniques passed down from father to son: linen cloth, cold sifting, and palm pressing. Boone observed it all and took it all in.

Golden Moroccan is Wild Wild Weed’s tribute to this tradition. Golden resin, a dense texture that crumbles under the warmth of your fingers, and an earthy aromatic profile with a hint of spice. Old-school pressed hash—nothing extra. The Rif in your pocket, shipped from St-LĂ©gier. THC < 1% (compliant with Swiss Narcotics Act).

Golden Lebanese — The Red Lands by Emery Dalton

Emery Dalton, the younger of the two, headed east. Since ancient times, Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley has produced a hash with characteristics all its own: a reddish-gold color, a supple texture, and a floral, milder profile than its Moroccan counterpart. Lebanese producers process the hash dry, by hand, with a level of precision that is truly remarkable.

Golden Lebanese embodies this legacy. Emery has returned with the expertise and understanding of a unique terroir. The result: a hash with a deep reddish-brown color—almost coppery in the light—that is soft and pliable, with slightly spicy floral notes. THC < 1% (LStup CH).

Golden Charras — The Secret of Ezra Dalton

Ezra Dalton, the most mysterious of the brothers, went where the maps end: the valleys of India and Nepal, the ghats of Manali, and the slopes of the Himalayas. There, hash isn’t sifted—it’s shaped by hand. Growers rub the fresh flowers between their palms for hours, until the resin forms a dark, shiny layer on their skin: charras.

Golden Charras is Wild Wild Weed’s take on this tradition. Deep black, supple like warm leather, with intense and complex aromas—spices, incense, damp earth. A sensory experience all its own. THC < 1% (LStup CH).

What Is CBD Hash? The Straightforward Explanation

CBD hash is a solid concentrate of trichomes—those tiny resinous glands that cover hemp flowers and contain high concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes. Compared to raw flower, hash offers a much higher aromatic density and CBD content in a smaller volume.

The Three Methods for Extracting a Handcrafted Hash

Dry sift: The dried flowers are passed through precision sieves. The trichomes fall through the mesh and form a fine powder—the pollen—which is then pressed. This is the traditional method used in Morocco.

Bubble hash / Ice-O-Lator (ice water extraction): The flowers are submerged in ice water, which weakens the trichomes. Stirring, filtration through successive mesh screens, drying—the result is hash of remarkable purity.

Charras (hand-rubbing): the world’s oldest method, originating in the Himalayan ghats. Fresh flowers are rubbed directly between the palms. The resin accumulates on the skin and peels off in small pellets. Intensely aromatic, this hash retains the volatile terpenes that other methods lose.

Swiss CBD Hash: How to Choose?

Not all hashes are created equal. A genuine, artisanal CBD hash can be recognized by its aroma (rich, complex, and lingering), its texture (soft to the touch, never pasty), and its color (golden, reddish-brown, or black depending on the variety—never uniformly black and hard). Be wary of products that do not specify their origin or extraction method.

At Wild Wild Weed, the three Daltons have made the trip just for you. We use the same methods as in the plants’ regions of origin. Compliance with Swiss narcotics law (THC < 1%) is the golden rule. And Sheriff Blackwood keeps a watchful eye on every batch from St-LĂ©gier.
